Unfortunately, as of June 2020, we have decided to take an indefinite hiatus. This decision is made by the fact that Singapore is not yet ready for ethical breeding or appropriate upkeep of hamsters.

We have waited 14 years to commence and we would be keen to wait another decade to breed again should Singapore advocates for proper husbandry and respect towards our little critters in time to come. That said, we no longer have any hamsters up for adoption. Please feel free to use the resources in our site with due reference.

Eldduc Hamstery (previously known as Cuddle Muffins) began its entrée to the fancy after more than a decade in the making. Time was taken to speak with professional breeders around the globe, researching on proper hamster husbandry as well as genetics.

Our goal stems from the love, appreciation and respect for the genetics of Syrian hamsters and we strive to improve on Health, Temperament and Type. We adhere to Code of Ethics set by IHANA and breed for exhibition standards as close to NHC.

As Eldduc Hamstery is a small scale hamstery on the little red dot, Singapore, we typically have not more than two litters in a calendar year. All pups from Eldduc Hamstery are adopted out at minimal fees, as we breed for species improvement, not financial gains. Hence, adoption is under a strict screening process to ensure the best care in their new forever homes, as well as a No Breeding Contract.

At Eldduc Hamstery, we advocate for humane hamster husbandry and are a part of a voluntary community to assist, rescue, foster and rehabilitate unwanted, neglected and abused hamsters.
